Arriving fresh on the scene out of Stockholm, Janice is a 22 year old one name wonder with a lot of intensity and depth in her soulful voice. She has been fostered musically, since her early teens, in Tensta Gospel Choir like among others Lykke Li, Seinabo Sey and Elias. Last week she released her debut single ”Don’t Need To”. Like sonic quicksand, it tugs at your heartstrings and pulls you in deeper and deeper, a delicate dance between the darkness and light within oneself. This fall, she will release her first EP, which she has worked together with among others HYENA and Javeon Mccarthy.
