The next Ja Ja Ja in Berlin is right around the corner, April 9th to be exact. This time it will be very sentimental when Last Lynx, Psyence Fiction and NEØV take out their instruments and let us into their inner thoughts and feelings.

Before this happens tho we want to introduce Last Lynx a little bit more. We’ve asked them to pick 4 movies that they would have loved to produce the soundtrack for, and then pairing them up with their music. Here’s the result.

Movie: Juno
We love this movie, it was released when we were about the same age as the characters, so we could really relate to the teenage awkwardness.There are so many songs that are great in this movie, it just feels like our music would have been in great company. Camilla discovered “Cat Power - Sea Love” through this movie, and for a long time she couldn’t sleep without hearing it.

Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy
I love how the music is fitted into the story in this movie, most of the songs are blasts from the past on a cassette player the main character got from his mother before leaving earth. It would be cool to have our music played on a spaceship going to some far off planet, on a mission to save the galaxy!

Movie: Porco Rosso
This beautiful movie is about a badass aviator pig, who has to lift a curse to get the love of his life back. I always wanted to have an airplane that can land on water, but I guess writing the music to a movie about a pig flying such airplanes is the second best thing?

Movie: 9
It would be really nice to write a sad score to this post-apocalyptic adventure. It’s got brave cute robot puppets and scary world-over-taking machines in it, that’s all we could ever ask for.
