‘Fire Play’ is the second single of Swedish indietronica/pop outfit Baron Bane’s forthcoming third album, aptly named ‘III’ and will be released in early summer 2015. Baron Bane exists of five musicians and whereas Baron Bane is a rock group, the conceptual and visual art might also label the band as an art collective. Baron Bane work in the contrasts between cold and warm; digital and analogue; acoustical and electronic. This is a nice mix of everything that the world of culture has to offer. ‘Fire Play’ is a cool track with a dreamy pop-electro sound and a heavy beat. Maybe it’s not going to make you dance, but it will certainly make you listen to it over and over again.
