Every week we select the best new tracks and videos from all around Scandinavia and present our editorial picks in the New Music Weekly series. This week we are featuring new Nordic releases from The Wombats feat. Dagny, Dominique Tey, Ina Wroldsen, Wildhart, Visiteur, Lac Belot, Kakkmaddafakka, Goss, and Bellhouse.

The Wombats feat. Dagny - Turn

The Wombats have teamed up with Norwegian singer Dagny to release a new version of their track ‘Turn’. The unusual pairing undoubtedly adds a softer, and more pop-infused side to the coming-of-age indie trio. We love it!

Dominique Tey - Heartstream

Heartstream is the debut single from Swedish singer Dominique Tey. A wistful dream-pop debut!

Ina Wroldsen - Mother

Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen’s new single is a beautiful track addressed to her mother. Haunting vocals calling out to the one special person, we all need in some moments of our lives.

Wildhart - Caught in a Fisheye (EP)

‘Caught in a Fisheye’ is the second EP of Swedish alt-pop group Wildhart, consisting of 6 tracks. Wildhart offer us an escape into a world of dreams, a world without chaos, and it’s a mesmerizing ride, hear and feel for yourselves.

Visiteur - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ is the second single from Swedish self-styled Techno-Glam group Visiteur. A funky disco track that will most definitely get you on the dancefloor.

Lac Belot - Crybaby

Lac Belot is the solo-project of Finnish singer and producer Jarno Takkumäki. With ‘Crybaby’, he releases his third single, a new refreshing, folky pop treasure with a timeless sound! Sit back, relax and let yourself be taken on a day trip to Finland’s most beautiful nature.

Kakkmaddafakka - Hillside

Norwegian indie-rock band Kakkmaddafakka have revealed the new video to their track Hillside. It’s as catchy as ever.

Goss - These Days (Rework)

Goss is one of the leading lights of Denmark’s buzzy alt-pop scene. His new single ‘These Days. I Don’t Know’ is the first in a string of new music expected from the singer and producer in 2018. Goss is now releasing a new version of the track, a remixed by fellow Dane Vasco.

Bellhouse - Mess

‘Mess’ is the new single from Swedish songstress Bellhouse. “Some relationships create big confusion between the brain and the heart. I like how we move and grow through different emotional stages in a relationship, similar to the song itself. I believe most people can relate to the message behind the story of ‘Mess’… love and heartbreak is messy, isn’t it?”
