Good news for all connoisseurs of indie-rock: the quartet Kaskelott from Swedish Gothenburg have just released a new single called ‘Flourish‘. Dramatic yet danceable, with shimmering synthesizers, groovy rhythms, and upbeat guitars, it is somewhat reminiscent of The Killers, Phoenix, and The 1975. It is a dynamic and at the same time thoughtful track about the constant strive for improvement and ultimately perfection. Even if one never achieves it, it is still a dream worth dreaming - that’s the hopeful message the band communicates in ‘Flourish‘.
‘Flourish‘ is the first single from Kaskelott’s upcoming second EP ‘Cocoon‘ which will be out in early spring 2017.
