Hey Elbow
The trio from Malmö with a background in jazz and an ear for distortion create weird pop music with a big sound. Their current track ‘Ruth’ is a gigantic swelling piece with massive choir, and howling lead vocals combined with a nearly rocklike rhythm. Watch the live video below:
Axel Flóvent
Hailing from the northern fishing village of Husavík (Iceland) Axel has already spent a few years creating his own music and performing in his hometown as well as all over Iceland by himself and as a part of his bands. Although influenced by indie rock, pop and electronic sounds his music is at its core acoustic! His newest EP ‘Forest Fires’ has been getting a lot of buzz from magazines, notable music blogs as well as popular radio stations.
