Soon, very soon it’s time for the next Ja Ja Ja in Berlin, March 12th to be exact. This time we will give you the chance to do your best dance moves in front of the stage (those of you have been practicing when no one was watching). We are honored to have Berndsen, Waldo & Marsha and Hisser on stage.
We thought it would be nice if you guys got the chance to get to know the artists a bit more before the gig, so we grabbed one of the coolest boybands from Danmark, Waldo & Marsha, and asked them to pick 4 movies that they would have loved to produce the soundtrack for, and then pairing them up with their music. And the result is like dipping French fries in ice cream, delicious!
Movie: Alien
We are all biiiiig sci-fi fans and Alien is just that kind of movie we could relate to. Instead of going with the obvious Star Wars thing (which we are all experts in), Alien is more of a challenge because it’s also a horror. That’s the thing about Alien; you get drawn in but at the same time you’re really afraid. Imagine trying to create that whole vibe of weird epic sci-fi and thriller killer moments.
Movie: X-files
There are endless possibilities for creating the perfect alien sci-fi moods and mystic melodies to X-files. Of course nobody could do it as catchy and mysterious as the original tune. Just wow. The overacting and the exaggerated elements in the series are just super appealing to us..
Movie: The Little Mermaid
Triforks, calypso loving mermaids and all the colorful wonders of the deep sea. What’s not to like?
In fact, we’re hoping that Disney might call one day to buy ”Attack of The Womanizer 2” for their new feature film starring the hologram of Grace Kelly as Ariel. We wanna get in on that.
Movie: Golden Eye
We just love Pierce Brosnan and especially in Golden Eye. Russia, old friends turning evil and doomsday weapons. We grew up with him, so he’ll forever be in our hearts. So charming, so deadly. And if you can write a good Bond track, you would be honoring some of the most well written melodies of all time. Evergreens!
