The mesmerizing indie/folk duo from Stockholm Flora Cash have released a new single ‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)‘. A mellow yet joyful track, it sends a powerful message which can be best captured in the words of Robert Eliot: “Rule number one is, don’t sweat the small stuff. Rule number two is, it’s all small stuff.” Embellished with fine-tuned guitar riffs and Poliça-esque arrangements, Cole and Shpresa’s dreamy singing drives the melody, creating a warm and optimistic aftertaste.
‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)‘ follows ‘Sadness Is Taking Over’ as the second single from the duo’s upcoming LP, to be released in early April on ICEA.
“The track is about embracing imperfection and temporality. It’s about an attitude of acceptance and the willing - (almost joyful) - embrace of change, not fear of it.” - Flora Cash on ‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)’
