About every Scandinavian family has this little wooden cabin in the middle of nowhere. The Scandinavians go there to be alone and live like 100 years ago. They pee in the bushes, “shower” in the lake, and pick berries during summer. Easter is the time to finally go there again. It doesn’t matter if it’s cold or not, tradition is tradition.
Also the Norwegians do so. They usually take the whole week off and disappear into the forests. There they eat good food and search for chocolate eggs. And since the 1920’s they solve murders and other crimes! Easter in Norway means that every year many new “påskekrim”, detective stories and crime novels, get published. The Norwegians seem to like their Easter bloody and violent!
Happy Easter or how the Norwegians say: God Påske
