Norwegian Singer-Songwriter AURORA releases her first music since her legendary debut album “All my Demons Greeting Me as a Friend”
There’s always been something otherworldly about Norwegian musician, AURORA. Something a bit fantastical and peculiar. Slight in stature but mighty of both voice and character, there’s a sense that she originally skipped from the wilds of a dense Bergen forest armed with her unique vision of a braver, bolder, all-things-being-equal world, and beaming from ear to ear.
“Queendom” is more confident, more immediate perhaps than that debut record, and is very much a statement of intent. Musically it’s a whirlwind of leftfield pop, all melody and propulsion. AURORA sings and the song stomps. An artist in control. 2018 just could be, should be hers.
