VILD Management’s newest addition, View, is a 23-year-old Finnish rapper from Helsinki, Finland.  Last week he dropped his first awaited 6-track EP ‘Avalon’ and we must say.. Wow! View nails it with his dark and mystical alternative rap, heavy beats and charismatic deep vocals.  He keeps his feet close to the ground and only writes about what is closest to him. This wonderful piece of music will take your mind on a journey to the darkest Finnish forests.

What are the images on the EP cover meant to evoke?

My album cover images were taken way before I had even released my first single Avalon but I knewed allready then how my EP was going to sound like so it was very easy to take those photos. I`m very precise with my visual profile so I wanted my single- & album cover to match EP:s soundworld which is very melancholic & blue. EP is also very personal so hiding my face in the album cover image symbolizes that.

What music were you all listening to at the time you recorded the record?

We were listening a lots of different music and genres. The most played artists during our sessions were Kanye West, Mick Jenkins, Diplo & Childish Gambino. If I have to name one particular song I`d say it was Childish Gambino - Sober!

What’s next for the band? Do you currently have more material in the can slated for a future release?
