Adam Tensta, born and raised in a 60s tower block suburb of Stockholm (called Tensta), is a swedish Rapper, who just released his third album titled ‘The Empty’. Delving deep into heart break as he reflects over the turmoil of a recent break-up, ‘The Empty’ is an album about mistakes made and betrayal. Coming to terms with, and facing reality. After the release of his debut LP ‘It’s A Tensta Thing’ (which was awarded with the Swedish Grammi for best Dance / Hip Hop / Soul album) and the sophomore album called ‘Scared of The Dark’ two years later, he has been touring around the world and opened up for artists such as Rihanna and Jay-Z. With more than 10 million views on YouTube, his hit single ‘My Cool’ has also been synced to popular video games like Tony Hawk’s Ride. Besides the music, Adam has worked with several charity organizations to educate and help fight poverty, trafficking and alienation. Adam Tensta is just a super cool guy, right?

Is there a typical scandinavian sound?

There is, but not within hiphop so much, all through we did start a little revolution with the sound on my first album It’s a Tensta Thing. The more specific sound is more a pop/rock genre type of thin.

How often do you really use dental floss?

Never bro. But I’ve never had a cavity.
