Last week, on the 23rd of September the electronic duo Gidge from Umeå, Sweden, released their debut album ‘Autumn Bells’. Gidge, consisting of Ludvig Stolterman and Jonatan Nilsson, released ‘Autumn Bells’ via Atomnation, worldwide, and now it’s ready to caress our ears and minds. ‘Autumn Bells’ embraces the transition into autumn and winter with its cool, scenic soundscapes, and on the album you will find 9 long tracks (that’s how we like it), that range from up-tempo, danceable ones to slow, floating ones. Prepare for ambient surfaces, emotive vocal-samples and icy beats, that draw you into a universe, where melancholy and joy join in harmony. A perfect picture of this ‘autumn feeling’, that we all know so well. Listening to tracks such as ‘I Fell In Love’ or ‘You’ makes you want to flee into the dusky woods and stay there forever.
So we had to make Gidge Artist of the Week, and we added them to our AOTW-Spotify playlist. Also, we asked them our 5 spacey questions to get 5 spacey answers AND let them take over our nordic_by_nature instagram today! Go, embrace the autumn!
