Einar Stray started out writing and producing songs on his own, but soon he brought other musicians into the project, and today Einar Stray Orchestra has released two albums – the latest this last Friday. The album is called ‘Politricks’ and like their first album, ‘Politricks’ is characterized by a sound combining symphonic music, folk and experimental rock. On the album you will find grandiose songs as well as more subdued and soft ones, all accompanied by the deep, soft voice of Einar Stray. In connection with the new album, a small documentary has been made about Einar Stray Orchestra and the bands relation to their home country Norway, so if you’re looking for some background, check out the first video below!
From the 20th this month Einar and his orchestra will start touring Germany, with their first stop at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, and they will reach Berlin on the 29th, playing at Privatclub. So if you haven’t already made acquaintance with this Norwegian band and let them give you some serious goosebumps, we recommend you do it now!
