As Berlin Midsommar Festival is getting closer (actually it’s tomorrow guys!!), we thought about this well-known german advice: “Vorbereitung ist das A&O!!” (means: “Preparation is the most important thing!!”). So in the next weeks you will get guides by Berliners on how to pamper yourself for the highlight of the Nordic by Nature year: Berlin Midsommar Festival, and the girls from This Is Jane Wayne are the last ones for this year. Be prepared for the classic Midsommar attire!
When the super lovely Nordic By Nature team asked us to curate some pretty outfits and perfect Midsommar dresses for you, first we were like: Well, of course, what else, we’re fashion bloggers (This is Jane Wayne.com, go there, we also talk about more important things), but at the same time we asked us if it wouldn’t be much to lame to make it as easy as this. Why not rather think outside the box and turn the rules upside down? Dear everyone, we tried, I promise. But at the end of the day we had to humbly roll back and acknowledge the greatness and inviolability of Midsommars Dress-Codes. It to ally makes sense. I mean, is there any better occasion out there that justifies looking like happy elves dressed in flowers and frippery while enjoying best scandinavian music than June 19th at Urban Spree? Not at all, exactly.
That’s why we finally raised the white flag and searched for pastel-colored and embroidered dresses to let the swedish magic happen:
Dress with red roses „Frieda“, bag, sunglasses, bikini, shoes and bracelet.
Flower accessories from Topshop, pastel coloured dress, white maxi dress, kimono dress, pompom trim dress, light blue dress, off shoulder dress, pink dress, blue etno embroidered maxi dress and dark red dress.
We hope to see you all dressed just as beautiful tomorrow at Urban Spree.
