We’ve already hailed “Stoned“, the latest single of the Danish duo Blondage, our summer anthem. But it turns out these Danes have even more infectious pop tunes in store – the living proof being their new track “BOSS”. Besides being utterly catchy, “BOSS” sends an important message about happiness: it should not be about huge mansions, private jets or diamond rings, but rather about presence and relationships. And we couldn’t agree with that more! (although a private jet would be kind of cool to have…)
You can catch Blondage – along with some other cool acts – on June 23rd at Berlin Midsommar Festival 2017!
“’BOSS’ is not just a song to us – it’s a necessary emotion of rebellion and hope. It completely took over our minds and hearts and ended up wiping all other songs we were working on off the table. We played the song live just four days after writing the first chords and the reaction from the crowd was big. It’s released just a month after we finished it, and it feels more present to us than any song we’ve put out before. ‘BOSS’ had a will of its own, and it had to be set free immediately.” – Blondage about BOSS.
